As a responsible independent high street business we are  committed to reducing waste and environmentally damaging practices within our operations and, where possible, choosing suppliers who share our objectives. 

We aim to:

• Reduce, and if possible eliminate, sale of single-use-plastic covered greeting cards.  Recycle any residual soft plastic;
  
• Explore possible re-use of cardboard packaging by local businesses;
  
• Continue to use 100% ‘green’ (certified zero emission) electricity;
  
• Reduce use of electricity for heating/cooling of the shop.  Lighting in all high and medium use areas already uses highly efficient LEDs;
  
• Wherever possible use sustainable/green certified suppliers and supplies (e.g. paper, print cartridges, hand-towels, cleaning products).
